So no one knows what the hell hipster even means. And if you ask any hipster, they personally are not hipsters. So I can up with a definition.
Hipster hip•stur- 1. An art(istically) inclined person around their 20′s still unsure of plans or even the need to have any, combing this over with a heightened sense of individuality. 2. Like Facebook people in real life

I like this definition. Usually, hipsters are frowned upon for being lazy good-for-nothings who rely on trust fund checks and don’t do anything productive.
I know quite a few people who could be considered hipsters and they’re nice, unique, and interesting.
